Joan Negrescolor

Joan Negrescolor was born in Barcelona in 1978. He trained at the Massana School, Albarracín, and EINA. He has been working as a professional illustrator since 2008, initially working for advertising, press, and posters. He has consistently collaborated with cultural initiatives focused on social and non-profit content. He has also collaborated with social movements in Barcelona and beyond, contributing his drawings to collective initiatives with a critical spirit and radical practices. He currently participates in the assembly of the Imprenta Colectiva de Can Batlló. In recent years, he has worked primarily in the field of children’s literature and illustrated albums, and has received several prizes and awards.
